At AEROLASER we are enthusiastic about participating with our technology in Endesa's preventive maintenance programs and forest conservation work.

Through LiDAR and thermal inspections, high-resolution videos and photographs from helicopters and drones, we collaborate in the maintenance of the distribution network. Thanks to the use of our systems, we obtain very useful information such as high-resolution images in which the different elements and the state of the facilities and their surroundings are seen in detail. With the thermal camera hot spots are detected in order to prevent fires, and through a LiDAR point cloud of georeferenced points is generated that allows distances between conductors and vegetation to be measured and studies of the forest mass to be carried out, which speeds up the scheduling of repair work and selective felling and pruning.

One of the advantages of using helicopters or drones is that it facilitates the acquisition work in areas that are difficult to access and without the need to cut off the electricity supply so that the technicians can climb onto the supports to carry out the inspection.
