Canary Islands Day is celebrated every year on the 30th of May, in memory of the first session of the Canary Islands Parliament held on this date in 1983.

Businesses, institutions and the Canary Islands society celebrate the day by organising and participating in numerous events to highlight the identity of the Canary Islands.

At Aerolaser System, a Canarian company, we celebrate this day with pride. Our CTO, Tomás Herrera Azorín, has emphasised that "we feel that we are doing something important with our land, developing technology and innovating with the knowledge and talent of our professionals. We are stimulating and diversifying the economy of our archipelago".

Flying in a helicopter is always tough, but flying over our islands is a very special experience for our operators. According to our operator, Airam Santana, "we spend many hours in the helicopter, so seeing these places that we love is priceless".

Our mission for this day is not just to say it with words. We have prepared a video to express the unique feeling of being Canarian, to have the honour of flying over our beautiful islands and to work for a better future for our archipelago.
