The Government of Spain, through the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), recently published a Royal Decree in order to digitize electric distribution networks and promote charging points infrastructure for electric vehicles on public roads. This plan is endowed with 525 million euros within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) that will go directly to the distribution companies through direct subsidies between 2021 and 2023. The beneficiaries will have to implement digital tools to improve customer service.

Moreover, the digitization of distribution networks is included in the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of Renewable Energies, Renewable Hydrogen and Storage (PERTE ERHA), which will channel more than 16,300 million in the coming years to adapt the energetic system. DALIA project can help distribution companies to obtain these funds thanks to the generation of a digital twin of the power lines. With this, a unique type of inspection is created, where the processing and diagnosis of anomalies will be carried out automatically with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), also being independent of the means of obtaining such data, obtaining great efficiency in the management process of data.

DALIA has a friendly and configurable user interface, with the possibility of separating its tools and windows on multiple monitors. It allows visualizing the LiDAR data in different views and profiles, as well as all the stored information of the inspection, the databases, photos and videos. At the same time, it uses AWS cloud services, and has a high access speed thanks to its powerful graphics engine, which has been developed with its own technology.

It presents a data tree diagram distributed by company, country, geographical area, regions, circuits, layers, etc. With unlimited capacity in LiDAR data clouds, orthophotos of the corridor, videos, thermal, temperature and wind measurements, photos in different perspectives of the electrical towers, the infrastructures and the anomalies.

Provides an automatic classification of LiDAR data points, discriminating by different classes such as terrain, building, greenhouses, streetlights, vehicles, walls, low, medium, high vegetation, plus elements of the power lines such as towers, electrical cables, hardware , crossings with other lines, etc.

Automated digitization of electrical cables from classified LiDAR points, calculation of changes in their conditions due to temperature and wind, simulation of movements.

Analysis of vegetation affected by changes in condition, grouping of anomalies by plant entities, generation of reports in different formats.
